At just 20 years old, Jacob Klug is running a no-code product agency that brings in between $100,000 to $150,000 per month. Jacob had an idea to build an app to solve this issue, but he didn't know how to code. That's when he discovered bubble, a no-code platform, and was able to launch an app for his school in just two weeks.

This was a pivotal moment for Jacob, as he realized the immense power of no-code tools. He explains, "That was the light bulb moment where I was like, 'this technology is actually super powerful.'" From there, Jacob continued exploring different online business opportunities, from dropshipping to social media marketing, but nothing really clicked until he found his true passion in no-code development.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Jacob saw an opportunity to help businesses go digital. Many of his clients were struggling to adapt to the new remote landscape, and Jacob knew that software could be the solution. He turned to bubble again, this time to build a digital solution for a local taekwondo studio that needed to transition their in-person classes online.

The success of that project led Jacob to go all-in on no-code development, hiring designers and developers to build solutions for other clients. He explains, "We had this one like taekwondo like Studio that was like we need to like you know really change our business and at the time like people didn't know how long this was going to last right this could have been like the next 5 years we have no idea and so um again going back to like how can we like help them you know software is how I solved that problem previously."

Serving Enterprise and Creator Clients

Jacob's no-code agency has since grown to work with some of the biggest names in the business world. He's built software for Fortune 500 companies, as well as high-profile YouTube creators like iDubbbzTV. For the iDubbbzTV project, Jacob and his team had just two weeks to build a comprehensive platform for the creator's "Career Now" program, which was a cohort-based course for aspiring YouTubers.

Jacob explains the appeal of no-code for these clients, "I would say you know a lot of our B clients we're seeing a big push towards internal tools um Salesforce for PE or you know other CRMs a lot of times don't cut it for these like really you know either like specific organizations or you know have complex workflows and so we're seeing a lot of Fortune 500 companies reach out to build these like super sometimes simple sometimes complex internal tools." The speed and cost-effectiveness of no-code development gives Jacob's agency a significant advantage over traditional dev shops.

The Power of Content and Community

Jacob has also leveraged the power of content and community to grow his business. He's built a strong following on TikTok, where he shares insights and advice about no-code development and entrepreneurship. This has not only helped him attract clients directly, but has also led to referrals and word-of-mouth opportunities.

Jacob explains the importance of content, "I think that it's pretty clear that like the engines behind like TikTok, YouTube um if you can like play them right you can get basically unlimited like distribution unlimited eyeballs." He's also tapped into niche online communities, like subreddits and Facebook groups, to connect with his target audience and showcase his expertise.

The Future of No-Code and Venture Studios

Looking ahead, Jacob is excited about the future of no-code technology and its potential to empower more people to become software creators. He believes no-code tools are still in the early stages, with massive room for growth and innovation. To capitalize on this opportunity, Jacob is transitioning his agency into a "no-code venture studio," where he'll incubate and launch his own software products.

Jacob explains his vision, "Venture studio is basically a company with its sole purpose of creating other companies um so it's basically you incubate you know one company and usually you have a process of like how you do that right so it's like first you have your ideation phase then you obviously build it and launch it and so the goal is to have a portfolio of you know a bunch of these softwares that are generating basically you know passive monthly you know Revenue."

By leveraging his agency's resources, expertise, and existing client relationships, Jacob aims to build a portfolio of successful software-as-a-service (SaaS) products. This strategy allows him to tap into the scalability and higher valuations of the SaaS business model, while still maintaining the steady cash flow of his agency work.
